Designing new ligands: asymmetric cyclopropanation by Cu(i) complexes based on functionalised pyridine-containing macrocyclic ligands.
The synthesis and characterisation of copper(i) complexes, including two crystal structures of the new chiral pyridine-containing macrocyclic ligands (PC-type), and their use as catalysts in asymmetric cyclopropanation reactions are reported.
متن کاملHighly emissive platinum(II) complexes bearing carbene and cyclometalated ligands.
A series of heteroleptic platinum(II) complexes (1a-3a and 1b-3b) bearing a dicarbene ligand and a cyclometalated bidentate ligand have been prepared. Two of the complexes (1a and 3a) were characterized by X-ray diffraction analyses, confirming the square-planar structures. Detailed spectroscopic properties of the complexes have been studied, and two complexes, 3a and 3b bearing a carbene chela...
متن کاملGreen photoluminescence from platinum(II) complexes bearing silylacetylide ligands.
The synthesis, structural characterization, photoluminescence properties, and density functional theory analysis of three Pt(II) diimine complexes, Pt(dbbpy)(C triple bond CR)2 [dbbpy = 4,4'-di(tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridine; R = -SiMe3, -CC-SiMe3, or -t-Bu], are presented. The Pt(dbbpy)(C triple bond C-tBu)2 complex serves as a carbon-based ligand structure for which the photophysical properties o...
متن کاملNanoparticles of novel organotin(IV) complexes bearing phosphoric triamide ligands
Four novel organotin(IV) complexes containing phosphoric triamide ligands were synthesized and characterized by multinuclear ((1)H, (31)P, (13)C) NMR, infrared, ultraviolet and fluorescence spectroscopy as well as elemental analysis. The (1)H NMR spectra of complexes 1-4 proved that the Sn atoms adopt octahedral configurations. The nanoparticles of the complexes were also prepared by ultrasonic...
متن کاملRhodium complexes bearing tetradentate diamine-bis(phenolate) ligands.
Using tetradentate, dianionic ligands, several new rhodium complexes have been prepared. Some of these diamine-bis(phenolate) compounds, are active for C-H activation of benzene. These complexes are air and thermally stable. All four complexes were characterized by X-ray diffraction.
